Tool Hire for Easter DIY Jobs

Easter is usually the time when our thoughts turn to spring and summer. Not only thoughts about the weather being better, but time off work to enjoy with the friends and family. It may also be time to start or complete some of those planned DIY projects you have put off over the wet and cold winter. Those four days (or longer if you tag a few days holiday on!) over the Easter break gives you a good amount of time to get jobs done, either inside or outside your home.

Here we have listed just a few tools and tips to show how we can help with various jobs around your home over the Easter break:

For the garden

Now we’re heading into spring, you can give your lawn a bit of TLC with the use of a scarifier or aerator. Moss has grown over the wet winter months and it has been quite prolific this winter with the amount of rain we have had. So most lawns will benefit from being stripped back and fed, before new growth really kicks in.

Or perhaps you need to tidy up areas with the use of a leaf blower or weed burner - very useful where there are lots of trees! 

Maybe the decking or patio needs a spruce up; we have plenty of pressure washers waiting to be hired. Then once the birds have finished nesting, you may have trees or branches overhanging, or on your property that need cutting back. We have hedge trimmers and brush cutters that would be ideal for this.

For the perimeter

For the house

If you’re restoring floors or getting ready for summer, we have floor sanders and floor edging sanders to achieve a really professional finish. Or maybe you’re installing a new bathroom and need a tile cutter?

For the builder

If you’re working on building a driveway, patio, shed base, or wall, you might need a mini excavator or cement mixer. For any demolition work, large or small, our breakers and SDS range of drills cover a variety of jobs.

For the decorator

Stripping wallpaper? We can help with a wallpaper stripper and hot air gun to make light work of those tasks.
