Our Airdrie Hire Hub is based in Lanarkshire, in the prime central belt of Scotland to provide plant and tool hire throughout Glasgow, Edinburgh and surrounding areas.
Previously known as Arvill Plant & Tool Hire, the acquisition was made by FTH Hire Group in January 2023 and has seen considerable investment on new equipment, service and support to customers in the region.
Since January, we have invested over £1m in new plant, tools and equipment for the Airdrie Hire Hub – maintaining our ‘Quality Equipment, Always in Stock’ promise and ensuring customers are hiring the best and latest equipment. That consistency, reliability and value is the key reason why our customers choose to work with us.
How We Can Help You
Airdrie Hire Hub, one of our newest acquisitions, offers a range of plant, tool, access, survey and landscaping equipment for hire.
Like all FTH Hire Group locations, our customer’s hire experience is at the centre of everything we do. At the Airdrie Hire Hub, our hire controllers, account managers and business development team are on hand to help and support your project requirements. Our dedicated fitters, mechanic and workshop team ensure all equipment is maintained and inspected to our high standards before going out to customers, not to mention fleet of delivery vehicles and transport operatives who deliver and pick up hires to all our customers around the country.
When passing by or coming in to collect your hires, our Trade Counter at Airdrie is there to provide expert advice from our local team, while offering a considerable number of essential tools and items, including:
o Specialist diamond blades and core drill bits.
o Premium quality drill bits, chisel points, floor sanding sheets, hoses and more.
o A variety of hand tools such as trowels, hammers, barrows and shovels to name a few.
o Fuels and lubricants such as broaching oil and chain oil.
o A wide range of protective equipment and workwear to keep you safe onsite, such as gloves, goggles, safety helmets and ear defenders
o Propane and butane gas canisters for your hire equipment or general requirements.
o Plus many more lighting, surfacing, surveying and daily essentials!
